What's new
New for 2026–27: the Grade 10 Financial Literacy graduation test
It's mandatory to graduate, and students need to score at least 70%. It's part of the Grade 10 Career Studies course, and the first cohort writes it this school year.
We prepare students for it — and we wrote the books on money for kids.
EQAO's 2025–26 results are out. In math, 65% of Grade 3 students and 52% of Grade 6 students met the provincial standard.

What families say
Nathalie Brûlé
Parent, high school student
My daughter, Carmélie, has been working with Vipul for over two years, and the difference has been remarkable. She was struggling with math when we first started, but rather than simply covering the material, he took the time to ensure she genuinely understood each concept before moving on. His patient and personalized approach helped her build confidence, strengthen her skills, and achieve a noticeable improvement in her performance.
Shai Alene Barcia
Parent, elementary and high school students
Vipul has been tutoring our four children for several years, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. He supports them in both French and math, and each of our children genuinely looks forward to their sessions—they even affectionately refer to him as “Teacher Friend.”
What truly sets him apart is that he goes beyond the school curriculum, providing unique e-books, engaging learning resources, and practical real-world skills that help our children grow in confidence both inside and outside the classroom. He has been an incredible mentor, and we highly recommend him to any family looking for a dedicated and inspiring tutor.
Trisha Bedi
Grade 12 student
I've been working with Vipul while preparing for the UCAT and my application to study medicine in the UK, and the experience has been invaluable. He not only guided me through the exam curriculum but also introduced me to personal finance, the economy, and other real-world skills that have helped me grow beyond academics.
His VIP e-book was especially helpful as a high school student learning how to budget, save, and manage money more responsibly. Even though I live in Vancouver, he was incredibly flexible and always accommodated my schedule.
My younger brother now studies with him as well, and we're so grateful to have found a tutor who truly goes above and beyond traditional teaching.
Daniele Wu
Parent, two Grade 8 students
VIP NextGen Academy has been excellent for advancing both of my daughters in math. They did well in their math competitions, and they're now at the top of their classes here in Alberta. The tutors are friendly and always accommodating to our schedule.
